Quality of care

We aim to provide the highest standards of care for our patients, families and carers. This means that we are continually reviewing our clinical care to ensure it meets our own high standards and the legal requirements of the Care Quality Commission.

The main way we review our clinical care is through our Clinical Audit Group which meets monthly. The Group:

  • Manages an ongoing audit programme
  • Reviews the results of our regular patient/carer surveys
  • Reviews reports of complaints, accidents, incidents and near misses
  • Reports results directly to the Clinical Governance Committee which has overall responsibility for the delivery of a high standard of clinical care. This is a joint Committee with Iain Rennie Hospice at Home

If you would like to learn more about the work of the Clinical Audit Group please contact Ally Powell, Clinical Quality and Audit Facilitator by filling in the form below.
