Bowled over by care

Cricket matchHosted by the Green Bush Cricket Club, players from the Inn on the Green and the Hollybush pub teams will compete with family and friends in what the Kerridge family hope will become an annual charity event.

Tom explains, "My father, Roland Kerridge was diagnosed with a serious brain tumour a little over two years ago, he received excellent treatment at the Royal Free Hospital and was later referred to Grove House. My dad received amazing support from Grove House, he was helped to accept what was happening and received counselling to help him progress to recovery. We couldn't believe that the services that Grove House provides are free to patients and their families, my two brothers and I decided we really wanted to put something back."

"The match on Sunday 22nd August will be a fun event, we're encouraging everyone to bring a picnic, there will be a raffle with some great prizes and family entertainment for everyone. All proceeds from the day will be donated to Grove House and all donations will be grateful received. Please visit www.justgiving.com/greenbush.
