The Hospice Lottery Partnership comprises of seven local hospices, all providing free quality care to patients and their families, affected by cancer and life limiting illness. Each year Grove House receives in the region of £75,000 from this partnership, enabling the hospice to continue planned expenditure with confidence.

Peter Tarbox has worked with the Hospice Lottery Partnership for almost two years now and spends his time letting everyone know about a cause he is fervent about it. Local shoppers can meet Peter at various venues around St Albans and Harpenden over the next few weeks. Peter wants everyone to know about the benefits of playing the lottery.

He explains, "I am a friendly chap and all I ask is that people find the time to stop and talk to me for a couple of minutes. Hospices are special places and do such inspirational work, I have personal experience of cancer within my own family and want to do all I can to help others who find themselves in the same position. For just £1 every week you can join the lottery to support your own local hospice and have the opportunity to win over eighty five fabulous prizes."

Since joining the Hospice Lottery Partnership Peter has raised an incredible £280,000 to support the work of the seven member hospices.
