Spiritual Care

The members of our team have the time to listen to and support people who have been diagnosed with cancer or another life-threatening illness. We are also here for their carers, friends and family.

You may be:

  • struggling with unsettling questions
  • searching for meaning and hope
  • looking for inner peace and a sense of well-being
  • desiring to value life

By contacting our Spiritual Care Lead, you can explore spiritual, cultural or religious issues such as:

  • beliefs about life and death
  • hopes and fears regarding the present and/or future
  • sources of strength to draw upon
  • the possibility of forgiveness and reconciliation
  • reconnecting with a faith once held

On request, we can provide:

  • help with putting your affairs in order
  • information about a particular faith or philosophy
  • contact with a member of a specific religious or community group
  • access to rites and ceremonies associated with a faith tradition

Our aim is to value each person, regardless of their personal beliefs, life orientation, culture or religious background.
