Superdraw 2010!

Superdraw 2010 drawXfactor star Danyl Johnson draws the winning ticket at the HLP Superdraw which raised a staggering £94,761 for the partner hospices

The Hospice Lottery's 7th Annual Superdraw was a hit in more ways than one raising, an incredible £11,000 for Grove House in distributed funds.

For the first time ever the draw was held at the HLP offices in Tring and the stars of the day were undoubtedly Danyl Johnson the 2009 XFACTOR finalist and ambassador to HLP BBC weatherman Bill Giles who helped pick the winning tickets.

Bill Giles even found time to forecast the next day's weather very accurately as it turned out. Rain all day! However the sun was definitely shinning on us on the day with GH Fundraising Director, Paul Parrish picking some of the other winners.

Danyl who delighted the audience by signing autographs and answering questions about his time on the XFACTOR drew the lucky winning ticket belonging to Mr Bryant from High Wycombe. Terry as he is more affectionately known was absolutely delighted to receive the top prize of £5,000 and had this to say:

"Having experienced firsthand the wonderful care that hospice nurses provide when IRHH came into our home and looked after my wife, I joined the lottery to try and do my bit to support this wonderful cause. Winning the top prize was such a surprise."

Terry will be using some of the money towards a trip to visit his son and three year old granddaughter who live in Australia.
